Aspley Hornets

The Aspley Hornets Football Club engaged Jacaranda Advisory to determine the viability of a large scale expansion and renovation at their Carseldine Club. The renovation included increasing the total size of the venue and relocating areas including the gaming room, bars and serving facilities.

A 7-year financial forecast was prepared to determine the financial viability of the project adjusting for interest rate movements, trading downturns during constructions and increased revenue and expenditure. After thorough financial forecasting and budgeting it was determined the project was viable and the Aspley Hornets Football Club obtained finance proceeded with the renovations.

Jacaranda Advisory was also engaged to attend to the applications to vary the liquor and gaming licences with the Office of Liquor and Gaming and ensuring the compliance with state government legislation.

”We engaged Jacaranda Advisory to assist us with our major renovation at our main Club site. Jacaranda prepared detailed forecast scenarios to highlight what the financial impacts of a renovation would have on our cash flow as well as our ability to trade during and after the renovation process. Once nearing completion Jacaranda attended to all licencing compliance documents with OLGR to ensure we were approved to operate as soon as each stage of the renovation was complete. Jacaranda Advisory were excellent in providing us with assistance and assurance during the procedure.”
